ESET NOD32 Recognized For Low System Impact By AV-Comparatives

ESET, the leader in proactive protection celebrating 25 years of its technology this year, has earned an eighth “Advanced+” award for ESET NOD32 Antivirus in AV-Comparatives Performance Test and Approved Corporate Product Award for ESET Endpoint Security.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus, earned “very fast” rankings for nine out ten categories with key functionalities tested including: file copying, downloading files, launching applications, archiving/unarchiving, installing/uninstalling applications and encoding/transcoding.
AV-Comparatives provides a three-level ranking system of “Standard,” “Advanced” and “Advanced+” awards. To receive an “Advanced+” award, products are compared based on how much impact they have on a system. ESET NOD32’s score of 187.7 out of 200 possible points was higher than 18 other competitive products including those offered by Sophos®, Kaspersky Labs®, Symantec™, McAfee® and Trend Micro™.

In October 2012, AV-Comparatives tested ESET Endpoint Security/ESET Mail Security products in their annual Business Software Review. ESET was awarded with Approved Corporate Product Award highlighting both of business software for a very clear and simple user interface that is hard to fault. In testing, AV-Comparatives aimed to protect their Small Business Server network by using ESET Remote Administrator console to deploy and manage the ESET Endpoint Security on the clients, and by installing the ESET Mail Security on the server.
“ESET’s Remote Administrator is a feature-rich console that provides all the functionality needed for enterprise environments. Its design allows essential monitoring and administration tasks to be easily carried out, making it equally suitable for small and medium-sized businesses,” concludes the AV-Comparatives Corporate Report.
