eClerx’s FY12 Revenue Up 35% At Rs 495.2 Crore

eClerx Services Ltd. (eCx), India’s first publicly-listed KPO and a Forbes “200 Best Under a Billion” company, today announced its results for fiscal 2012. eClerx provides data analytics and customized process solutions to global enterprise clients from its offshore delivery centres in India.

Consolidated financial highlights for the year ended March 31, 2012
· Operating revenue for year ended March 31, 2012 was Rs 472.9 crore vs Rs 342.1 crore in the corresponding period last year, YoY growth of 38%. In USD terms, operating revenue grew by 29% to USD 97.5 Million as compared to USD 75.4M in the same period last year. Total revenue including other income for the period was Rs 495.2 crore, YoY growth of 35%.
· Operating profits for the year are Rs 176.8 crore, a growth of 54% YoY.
· Profit after tax for the year ended March 31, 2012 was Rs 159.8 crore compared with Rs 122.4 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year, a growth of 30% YoY.
· Basic EPS for the year ended March 31, 2012 was Rs 55.14 as compared to Rs 42.65 in the corresponding period last year.
· The total headcount as on March 31, 2012 stands at 4,405 growth of 20% YoY.
· The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 17.50 per share.
Commenting on the results, Mr. P.D. Mundhra, Executive Director said “In this fiscal year, operating revenue and net profit of the Company grew by 38% and 30% respectively. We are satisfied with our FY 12 performance, particularly in light of the subdued macro environment in our customer markets during the second half of this fiscal year, which we anticipate will continue for the next few quarters. We continue to invest for the long term, and have in particular again significantly increased senior management talent, as we consider to be crucial to support our next few years of growth.”
